eMedSuite allows for full-text searching of reports, along with searching by date, patient name, and other parameters. Results can be sorted by name, date, or status. Doctors choosing to dictate via digital voice recorders can upload their voice files online by clicking one button. Simply move your files to a local upload directory, click the button, and your files will be uploaded to our secure server. Once our transcriptionists return a report, the user is notified on the transcription home page that the report is ready. In addition, reports for the 5 most recent days are available on the transcription home page. After a report is returned by our transcriptionists, the user has the ability to edit the report if necessary. Addenda can be added, or small changes can be made by the user if necessary. The user can also download and listen to the original voice file for each report. Users can notify our staff of any questions, comments, or any other feedback regarding any reports returned to them. Our staff uses this feedback to help us improve our daily offerings. Reports can be displayed in a format that is printer-friendly so that users can have hard-copies of their reports. Instead of waiting for hard-copies from an outside source, doctors can print hard-copies of their reports immediately. Up to 4 different report headers and footers can be used as part of a report template. In addition, reports can be searching using the header and footer as search criteria. Electronic signatures can be applied to reports once they are reviewed and approved by the user. Group IDs are available for large practices or hospitals that wish to have users that can view the reports for all of the users in the practice or hospital. This is especially useful for administrators, secretaries, or the medical records department when reports need to be printed and filed. Once a dictation is completed, the user can track the status of the report all the way until completion. The user can see what phase the report is in (pending, transcription, quality assurance, etc.). Once a report is returned, the user can see exact line counts for individual reports, along with daily and monthly linecounts for billing purposes. As a separate component, eMedSuite allows users to enter, search, and edit the information of referring physicians into a global directory. This allows for quick and easy access to referring physicians across the country. |
